Welcome to MENIB, the Middle East News and Information Bureau focusing on Palestine and Israel. MENIB brings you news photos and text and will shortly offer video coverage of news and background on daily events in the region. You may subscribe to MENIB by monthly payment or purchase any of the multi media content shown on the site on an item-by-item basis.

MENIB provides multi media content to newspapers, news and documentary desks at television and radio stations, journals and web sites. Click ‘View Content’ to pre view and select the photo, text, audio or video item you wish to purchase. Follow the purchase and delivery instructions and within minutes the item will be automatically downloaded onto your PC.

When you register and give yourself a log on password you have the opportunity to become a monthly subscriber and account holder. Once accepted as a subscriber all items purchased will be billed monthly.

In the largest incursion seen in the city for several months, Israeli forces yesterday entered the city of Hebron in full force, imposing a strict curfew, destroying homes and businesses and shutting down radio and television stations. Read this Article

  News 10.29.1.03 - Israeli forces kill four Palestinians and injure a journalist during invasion of Jenin

Four Palestinians were killed this morning and one journalist injured when Israeli troops invaded Jenin. According to residents, the invasion began at 1.30 am when Israeli soldiers entered the Asharrki and Al Marrah neighborhoods in the eastern part of Jenin. Shortly thereafter, about 20 tanks entered Jenin city, occupying the entire city and imposing a curfew. Jeeps and snipers spilled into civilian neighborhoods, terrorizing residents by invading their homes and filling their roofs with snipers.Read this Article

The Israelis have now killed 16 Palestinians in the last 48 hours an average of one Palestinian every two hours with no serious objections coming from the international community, said Palestinian human rights activist Dr Mustafa Barghouthi, speaking from Ramallah today. We are also looking for historic and other scenic images to add to the library and archive of pictures of the region.   News 01.2.1.03 - MENIB to create a new photo library in memory of Imad Abu Zahra

MENIB, the Middle East News and Information Bureau is to create a special news photographic library in memory of the photojournalist Imad Abu Zhara. The library, which will be up-dated regularly, will be shown on a special web site and will include both recent and current images of news events in Palestine. more

Mother of four murdered by Israelis at checkpoint near Nablus.According to Mohammad Judala, one of Suad's sons, his mother was traveling with her son Abdullah from their village of Zawata to try to find him a job in Israel. She felt that it was safer for him if she, an older woman, was with him as he crossed the Beit Iba checkpoint.
